FYI - the garbage bin at Silver City was removed prior to this weekend.
There is a construction materials only roll off located at Tar Gap Trailhead this month for folks maintaining their cabins. I have found several bags of garbage that have been disposed of in the roll off. I have had to retrieve the bags twice in the last 4 days to dispose of properly in bear proof trash cans. This is hazardous for me and the wildlife. I am really disappointed in who has been doing this. The different bag types and timing is indicating to me that it has been multiple parties.
I am not here to monitor the roll off 7 days a week to insure that I get the garbage out before the bears discover it. This concerns me greatly. Please spread the word that this is unacceptable.
