Cabin owner Gerry Strickland sent a few photos he took along the road, including some that showed the Phos-Chek sprayed from fire trucks to stop the fire from crossing the road.
Gerry commented, "The hard work by the firemen was evident everywhere in the orange retardant and cleared fuel on both sides of the road."
