Got a call back from Kathryn Bear of Tulare County FIre Department. They are in Faculty Flat clearing around structures etc. Firemen have fire gel up there but there is a time limit on effectiveness so they won't spray until the fire is closer and it's needed.
Firemen also have fire resistant wrapping already up there. Type 1 team is in control and the Team and TCFD have daily briefings together. TC firemen at no time were without food or water. TCFD got permission from federal authorities to use retardent and doze a fireline to protect our communities.
